HOW TO ORDER TECHSHIELD ANTI-REFLECTIVE COATINGS ON EYEFINITY: A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
Follow these easy, step-by-step instructions to order TechShield® Anti-Reflective Coatings on Eyefinity®. You’ll find directions for ordering TechShield, TechShield Plus, TechShield Elite, and TechShield Blue for your VSP® and private-pay patients.
After logging into Eyefinity, simply follow the directions below for ordering all TechShield Anti-Reflective Coatings for VSP claims and private-pay patients.

A. For Private-Pay Patients
I. Click on eLAB in the top navigation.
I. Click on eLAB in the top navigation.
II. Enter the patient’s last name and first name OR click on “Start a Lab Order” on the left side of the screen.
III. On the top of the next page, ensure the patient’s last name, first name, date of service, and doctor’s name are all correct, then check “Lens” and, if applicable, “Frame,” next to Lab Services.
B. For VSP Claims:
I. Click on eINSURANCE in the top navigation.
I. Click on eINSURANCE in the top navigation.
II. Enter the VSP authorization number and select "lab invoice" as the starting page.
III. On the top of the next page, under "INVOICE SERVICES," ensure the patient information is entered correctly.
Step 2: Select lenses and enter related information.
The ordering process for VSP claims and private-pay patients are the same from here. Follow the instructions below to order TechShield Anti-Reflective Coatings for both patient types.
In the “LENS” section:
I. In the Lens Finishing drop-down menu, select Lab Finishing or In-Office Uncut Lenses.
II. In the Vision Type drop-down menu, choose the appropriate vision type.
III. In the Material drop-down menu, select your preferred lens material.
IV. In the lens drop-down menu, choose your preferred lens and enhancement (if applicable).
In the “LENS” section:
I. In the Lens Finishing drop-down menu, select Lab Finishing or In-Office Uncut Lenses.
II. In the Vision Type drop-down menu, choose the appropriate vision type.
III. In the Material drop-down menu, select your preferred lens material.
IV. In the lens drop-down menu, choose your preferred lens and enhancement (if applicable).
V. Complete all applicable fields between "Lens" and "A/R Coating."
To Order TechShield:
I. In the AR Coating drop-down menu, scroll down to the AR Coating B section. Choose either TechShield or TechShield UVR (for TechShield with backside UV protection).
I. In the AR Coating drop-down menu, scroll down to the AR Coating B section. Choose either TechShield or TechShield UVR (for TechShield with backside UV protection).
To Order TechShield Plus:
I. Scroll down to the AR Coating C section. Choose either TechShield Plus or TechShield Plus UVR (for TechShield Plus with backside UV protection).
I. Scroll down to the AR Coating C section. Choose either TechShield Plus or TechShield Plus UVR (for TechShield Plus with backside UV protection).
To Order TechShield Elite:
I. Scroll down to the AR Coating D section. Choose either TechShield Elite or TechShield Elite UVR (for TechShield Elite with backside UV protection).
I. Scroll down to the AR Coating D section. Choose either TechShield Elite or TechShield Elite UVR (for TechShield Elite with backside UV protection).
To Order TechShield Blue:
I. Scroll down to the AR Coating D section and choose TechShield Blue UVR.
I. Scroll down to the AR Coating D section and choose TechShield Blue UVR.
Step 4: Submit your order.
