• Are TechShield AR Coatings available with UV_R (Backside UV Coating)?

  TechShield Blue and TechShield Sun UVR automatically come with UV_R included.

• What materials and lens designs are available with TechShield AR Coatings?

  TechShield AR Coatings are available on all lens designs and materials, unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.

• Should TechShield AR Coatings be added to an en masse blue filter lens product?

  Yes, it should be paired with TechShield Elite.

• How can TechShield AR Coatings be ordered?

  TechShield AR Coatings can be ordered through Authorized Unity^® Distributor Labs.

• What is the Unity Rewards program?

  The Unity Rewards program offers a simplified way for all VSP network providers to earn points on eligible Unity, SunSync, and TechShield lenses and enhancements. Points can be redeemed on items of your choice.

• Which products are eligible for Unity Rewards?

  You can earn points on eligible Unity Progressive Lenses, SunSync Light-Reactive Lenses, TechShield Elite/Blue Anti-Reflective Coatings, and Ethos Lenses.

• How much do TechShield AR Coatings cost?

  Price for patients wishing to pay out of pocket will be determined by the Eye Care Provider.

• Are TechShield AR Coatings covered under warranty?

  Yes. TechShield AR Coatings are backed by a two-year warranty, which applies to scratching, peeling, or crazing under normal use. Lenses that are abused, extremely scratched, chipped, broken, or damaged are not covered under this warranty.
